The 67th winner of the 2000 Guineas, held on Wednesday 28th April 1875 over the Rowley Mile, was Camballo (7/2), a bay colt by Cambuscan out of Little Lady, owned by Mrs Clare Vyner. The winner won by 2 lengths in 1 minute 46 secs, with a neck back to the third. A field of 13 runners contested the race which was worth £4,550 (Equivalent to £473,200 in 2017)
